What licence do I need to drive your trucks?
A full Australian car (C class) licence. Our pantechs are rated to be driven without a truck licence. Bring the physical licence at pickup.
Is there a bond?
Yes. A refundable bond is taken at pickup and returned after the truck comes back in the same condition, with fuel at the level you collected it.
How many kilometres are included?
150 km per hire day. Anything over that is $0.30 a kilometre.
Who pays for tolls and fines?
The hirer. Tolls and any fines during your hire are passed on to you, so keep that in mind when planning your route.
Can you supply a driver?
Yes. Ask for truck-with-driver and we’ll quote for the truck, an experienced driver, and an offsider if you need help loading.
Do you go interstate?
Yes, on request. Send the pickup and destination and what’s going, and we’ll quote a one-off run.
Are you insured?
We carry $20 million public liability cover and workers compensation for our drivers.
How quickly can you quote?
Usually the same day. WhatsApp or a phone call is fastest if it’s urgent.
Can I hire a truck for more than one day?
Yes. Multi-day and long-term hires are available. Long-term business hires get a better rate, so ask.
What do I need to bring at pickup?
Your physical driver licence and a payment card for the bond. Business hirers can give company details for invoicing.
Do you pick up from IKEA, Harvey Norman or Marketplace sellers?
Yes, all the time. Send the pickup address and order details and we’ll quote the run.
Do you do house removals?
Yes, from single items to full houses, apartments and small offices.
Can a business set up regular runs?
Yes. Tell us the volume and frequency on the business quote form and we’ll put together a rate.
Do you have vans?
Not at the moment. Our fleet is three tail-lift pantech trucks.
